I’ve been rocking with Dove since I was a little girl. I even remember the old commercials that showed the cleaning cream water falling into the pool of cream below.
Dove was my great-grandmother’s cleanser of choice and the scent still reminds me of her. She wasn’t the type to spend money willy-nilly, so for it to be one of the few beauty products that she used is saying a lot (trust me).
As much as I love trying new beauty products, the Dove White Beauty Bar has remained a tried-and-true staple in my bathroom. I’m all about keeping my morning beauty routine simple, so the fact that it is gentle enough to use on my face and body is amazing. It’s much milder than soap and contains ¼ moisturizing cream, so my skin feels soft and radiant after use. Also, it happens to be hypoallergenic and the #1 dermatologist recommended bar and I don’t have to worry about irritation.
I wash my face twice a day and I like that the Dove White Beauty Bar helps maintain my skin’s tone and brightness over time. And when I do my san-makeup days I don’t have to worry about my skin’s appearance or texture. My supple skin and smiling face looks great even on harsh cold winter days.
Many people spend a ton on face cleansing products, but don’t realize that a staple cleanser like Dove White Beauty Bar combine with proper washing technique is all you need. To keep your skin looking radiant in two minutes or less, follow the steps below:
First, splash your face with warm water. Then lather the palms of your hands with the beauty bar and then apply to your complete face and neck using a circular motion. I try to do this step for at least a minute so the cleanser can penetrate my skin and neck. Then rinse with warm water and pat dry- not rub- with a clean, dry towel. I always apply a moisturizer with SPF immediately after I dry my skin.
The Dove White Beauty Bar can be snagged at your local drugstore or supermarket and retails for around $3.79 for two bars.
