Debuting a fashion line under the big tents of New York Fashion week is the dream of millions of designers, but the financial cost can be prohibitive for even the most visionary. Thanks to Dell, one talented and lucky teen entrepreneur, didn’t have to worry about breaking the break to share her collection with the world.
Isabella Rose Taylor is only 13 years old and has been designing since age 8. An avid painter, for as long as she can remember, Taylor pulls inspiration for her designs from her artwork. She designs for girls her age and describes her spring looks as “story of spring with rainy days and colorful beginnings”, according to The Daily Beast.
The Austin Texas native, was selected as an honorary member of the Dell’s Women Entrepreneur Network (DWEN). The incubator connects female entrepreneurs across the globe with networks, sources of capital, knowledge and technology, giving them the resources to do more. As part of her membership Dell provided Taylor access to industry leaders, mentors and technology which helped her take her dream to the next level.
Taylor has also inked a deal with Nordstrom, to carry her 2014 Fall Collection. He pieces range from $20-$100. After graduating high school at age 11, completing her first year of college, debuting a fashion line NYFW and landing a deal with a luxury retailer, we’re excited to see what’s next for this teenpreneur.
